Media Blasting
Whenever a Warren Thick Stock Pump is placed in service foreign debris may accumulate in or around the pump. After complete disassembly, the pump housings, bearings boxes and discharge casings are media blasted. Media blasting strips all debris including, stock, grease oil and paint, the entire pump is left as bare metal.
After media blasting we assess the pump components and document any cracks, chips or damage which may not have been visible during the initial breakdown. The Thick Stock Pump is now ready to proceed for analysis and remanufacture.
